Through the app, customers can shop the thousands of refurbished electronics on the marketplace, receive support, and run quick and easy diagnostics on devices purchased on Back Market. The app runs a full scan and check of smartphone functionality including battery health, screen, camera, sound and microphone functionality, providing increased transparency to users.

The new diagnostic services provide a two-fold benefit to customers. Customers are encouraged to download the app on their Back Market device upon arrival and run the diagnostic tool. This not only ensures additional confidence in the functionality of the device for users, but allows Back Market and their partners to address any issues quickly and with quality data and information. Additionally, the diagnostic results will be used by Back Market to continue to improve the customer experience on the marketplace by incorporating data into the profile of each refurbisher partner as part of the Back Market quality charter.
